Contact your eye surgery department as soon as possible if you experience. Rest and relax for two to three days. Take it easy for the first 2 to 3 days.
Once you get home it is recommended that you rest your eyes and nap.
Continue your advised routine if any. Just remember that you will need to tape the shield back over your eye at night or during naps for protection while you recover from cataract surgery at least for several days. If anything enters your eye or it starts itching better consult your ophthalmologist immediately. Immediately following your cataract surgery a protective shield will be placed over your eyes.
